African Energy & Power (AEP) is a Malawian energy company established in 2019. We pride ourselves to be a Malawian owned, reliable, hands-on energy service provider committed to quality – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. AEP is a licensed service provider for: Wholesale of Liquid Fuels & Gas, as well as Project Developer, Integrator and Distributor of Renewable Energy Technologies in Malawi. AEP is also a licensed fuel importer in Malawi.

We are proud to be one of the few independent fuel providers that are licensed by MERA. This licensing is a mark of our credibility as we have to adhere to the Regulator’s policies and regulations in terms of, among other aspects, the environment and safety. We ensure you that with an available & reliable fleet of accredited bulk tankers, our competitively priced fuel gets to you when and where you need it. We provide fuel to retail service stations, as well as agriculture, mining, public transport, logistics companies and others. We develop utility-scale energy power stations based on low-emission coal technology as well as modern photovoltaic (PV) solar plants. Projects are structured under the Independent Power Producer (IPP) regime.
